SuperStreak Privacy Policy
No ads. No tracking. We never sell your data.
Effective date: October 24, 2026 · Last updated: November 3, 2026
SuperStreak helps you keep one daily mission, with a Champion in your corner. Missions can be personal, so we treat everything you tell us as private. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, who helps us run the app, and how you can delete your data.
The short version
- We collect only what SuperStreak needs to work.
- Your mission is shared only with the Champion you choose.
- We never sell your data, never show ads, and never track you across other apps or websites.
- You can delete your account and everything linked to it from inside the app, at any time.
1. Who we are
SuperStreak is made by Hijinks Online Inc., Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada ("SuperStreak", "we", "us"). Questions about privacy: support@superstreak.app.
2. What we collect
When you sign in
- Your Sign in with Apple identifier and the email address Apple shares with us. If you choose "Hide My Email", we only see Apple's private relay address.
- The first name you give us. We don't ask for your last name, phone number, address, or birthday.
When you use SuperStreak as a Hero
- Your mission: its name, length, start date, and the reward you set.
- Your check-ins, missed days you confirm, restarts and comebacks, and your Hero record (days kept, longest streak, missions completed).
- Your Achievements, including any missions you hide or delete.
- Your settings, such as reminder times, evening reminder, morning catch-up, and "Keep notifications private". The Face ID lock setting stays on your iPhone.
When you use SuperStreak as a Champion
- The Heroes you support, the messages and one-tap encouragement you send, check-in reminders you send, and your Champion record.
Messages and reports
- Messages between a Hero and their Champion are stored so both of you can see them. Deleting a message hides it for you; it's removed for good when the mission or the Hero's account is deleted.
- If you report a message, we store the report and the reported message so we can review it and keep SuperStreak safe.
Invites
- When a Hero invites a Champion, we create an invite link. The invite page shows only the Hero's first name, never the mission or reward.
Notifications and device information
- A push notification token for your device, and your device's time zone, so notifications arrive at the right local time.
- Your reminders (daily, evening, morning catch-up, and the occasional nudge to set up or start a mission) are scheduled on your iPhone itself.
Membership
- Whether you have an active SuperStreak membership and when it renews or ends. Purchases are handled by Apple. We never see or store your payment card details.
Usage and crash information
- Simple app events (for example, that a check-in happened, with only a range such as "8 to 30 days", the hour of day and whether it was for today or yesterday, that an invite was sent, or how long an invite waited before it was accepted) and crash reports, so we can understand what's working and fix problems.
- A crash report contains technical details: what went wrong, your device model, iOS version, app version, and a random identifier.
- Usage events and crash reports are linked only to a random identifier for your app installation, never to your account, name, mission, or anything you type. We don't use Apple's advertising identifier.
- We use them only to improve and fix SuperStreak. There's no setting to turn them off; deleting the app stops them.
Face ID
- If you turn on Face ID lock, your iPhone checks your face. We never receive your face data. The app only learns whether the unlock succeeded.
Our website (superstreak.app)
- The website has no analytics service, no advertising, and no tracking cookies. We count how many times invite pages are opened each day by type of device (iPhone, Android, or computer), without storing anything about you or your device. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.
- If you join the Android waitlist, we store your email address. To prevent spam, we briefly keep a scrambled code made from your network address; it is deleted within an hour.
Support
- If you email us, we keep your email and our reply so we can help you.
What we don't collect
- Your location, contacts, photos, Apple Health data, payment card details, or face data. SuperStreak doesn't ask for access to any of them.
3. How we use it
We use your information only to:
- run SuperStreak: your mission, streak, reminders, Champion connection, messages, Achievements, and membership;
- send the notifications you've chosen;
- keep the community safe, including reviewing reported messages;
- understand overall use and fix crashes, using the anonymous usage and crash information described above;
- count overall totals from our database each week (for example, how many missions started or how many invites were accepted), as numbers only, never about one person;
- answer your questions and keep the service secure.
We don't sell your personal information, share it for advertising, use it to build an advertising profile, or track you across other companies' apps and websites.
4. What your Champion or Hero can see
SuperStreak is built around sharing with one trusted person.
- Your Champion sees your first name; your mission, its length, and its reward; your check-ins, missed days, and restarts; your milestones; and the messages between you.
- As a Champion, your Heroes see your first name and the messages and encouragement you send.
- With "Keep notifications private" on (the default), notifications on your lock screen don't show your mission name.
5. Who helps us run SuperStreak
We use a few service providers to run SuperStreak: Google Firebase (sign-in, database, hosting, notifications, and usage and crash reports through Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics), Apple (sign-in, notifications, and purchases), RevenueCat (membership status), and email services for support. They use your data only to provide their service to us, under contracts that require them to protect it.
We would only disclose your information otherwise:
- if the law requires it, such as a court order or similar legal process;
- if we believe in good faith that it's necessary to protect someone's safety, protect our rights, investigate fraud, or respond to a lawful government request;
- if Hijinks Online Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of its business. This policy would continue to apply, and we would tell you in the app before your information became subject to a different policy.
6. Where your data is stored
Our database is hosted by Google in the United States. If you live outside the United States, your information is transferred there. We rely on our providers' safeguards for these transfers.
7. How long we keep it
- Your account and mission data: for as long as you have an account.
- When you delete your account: we delete your account and everything linked to it straight away. Copies in our security backups are removed within 7 days.
- Usage information: usage events are kept for up to 2 months. The random identifier that links them is kept until 2 months after you last use the app.
- Crash reports: kept for up to 90 days.
- Reports: kept until we've reviewed them, and for as long as needed to keep people safe or to meet a legal obligation. A reported message is otherwise kept like any other message, until the mission or account is deleted.
- Android waitlist: until we launch on Android and email you, or until you ask us to remove you.
- Support emails: for as long as needed to help you, then deleted.
8. Your choices and rights
- See and correct: your information is in the app. You can change your name, reminders, and notification settings in Settings, and edit your mission details until your Champion accepts.
- Delete a mission: from Settings, or delete a completed mission from Achievements.
- Delete your account: from Delete account and data in Settings. This deletes everything linked to your account. Your membership is billed by Apple, so cancel it separately in your iPhone's subscription settings.
- Notifications: turn them off any time in the app or in your iPhone's Settings.
- Ask us: email support@superstreak.app to request a copy of your information, ask a question, or make a privacy request. We'll respond within 30 days.
Depending on where you live (for example in Canada, the UK, the European Union, or California), you may have additional rights, such as to access, correct, delete, or move your information, or to object to or restrict how we use it. You can exercise them by emailing us, and you also have the right to complain to your local privacy regulator (in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada).
9. Security
Your information is encrypted in transit and when stored, and our database only lets each person read what they're allowed to see. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information and will tell you if a breach affects you, as the law requires.
10. Age requirement
You must be at least 13 to use SuperStreak. It isn't for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have, we'll delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email us at support@superstreak.app.
Teens aged 13 to 17 can use SuperStreak with a parent's or guardian's permission. We handle their information exactly as this policy describes: no ads, no selling, and no tracking across other apps or websites. A parent or guardian can ask us to see, correct, or delete their teen's information by emailing support@superstreak.app.
11. Changes to this policy
If we make important changes, we'll tell you in the app before they take effect. The effective date at the top always shows the latest version.
